Digital Camera Nikon L100 or Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28K?

need to get a camera for mostly home use and to shoot pictures of my kids during sports activities. Which one do you recommend? NIKON L100 or Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28K Both available at Amazon.com. Thanks a bunch

Nikon Coolpix L100 no rechargeable batteries?

I have been debating on buying the Nikon Coolpix L100, but the only thing holding me back is the fact that it needs 4 AA batteries. It states that it does NOT take rechargeable batteries. Anyone have a Nikon Coolpix L100 camera?

If anyone can give me some input on how the Nikon coolpix L100 Camera is I would really appreciate it. I am retiring my HP Photosmart 715 and want a Nikon or if that isn't a good camera then the Canon PowerShot SX120 IS. I am leaning toward the Nikon because I have always wanted a Nikon camera but if it is not a good camera then I will look further. If anyone can send some pics they took with one I would appreciate it. I want a camera with good clear pic and good close up and zoom.
